Yarn

Fingering weight yarn and mohair held double, or DK or sport weight yarn in at least 1 main color (MC), and 1 contrast color (CC).

Merino or merino blends are ideal for a cozy sweater in the winter season. Holding a strand of fingering weight merino together with a strand of laceweight mohair or suri to get that fluffy halo will make your sweater even cozier; opting for a silk blend will make the fabric super soft and nice to the touch. Plant-based fiber blends with some elasticity, such as cotton + bamboo, will work great for a summer blouse or tee.

Yarn used

Townhouse Yarns Fade St 4 ply (70% SW merino, 30% silk, 437 yds / 400 m per 100 g hank) held together with Abbey Lace (72% kid mohair, 28% silk, 459 yds / 420 m per 100 g hank) in colorway “Pegasus” (light pastel MC) and “Cloak” (dark blue CC).
