Coco is here to become your favorite jacket, cardigan and blazer! With a perfectly fitting yoke with proper tailoring, a deep V-neck, lovely rounded corners at front and pockets, it has it all! The set-in sleeves  are loose and airy with a slight balloon-shaped cuff; and the buttons band and buttonholes are discreet and very cute. Coco is constructed from the top-down, starting at the back, then shoulders, then the whole yoke together as one – this means that the jacket is virtually seamless (with the exception of pocket finishing). The body is then worked in conjunction with the pockets, followed by sleeves and body edging. The pattern includes many modification options to make sure that it fits YOUR body and if you need a bit more support, there is a course in which I walk you through the WHOLE process, start to finish, including how to modify the pattern to your specific measurements. This really is a jacket for everyone!

The pattern is available in English and Spanish. / El patrón está disponible en Español.

Alternative Yarns

Any worsted weight yarn will work, but here are some I recommend:

gauge

15 sts x 18 rows = 10 cm / 4in
In sc worked flat after blocking

Swatch Instructions

Be sure to block and check gauge before starting by making a big enough gauge swatch (at least 15 x 15 cm / 6 x 6 in).

Certain materials might sag, and fabric may extend too much with drape, so adjust hook size appropriately.

Coco Jacket

Description

Followed the pattern for size 3. Initially planned on making cropped version but ended up adding extra rows so finished jacket is between cropped and long. Did not do any decreasing in sleeves - would decrease if make it again to eliminate some volume in lower sleeve. Finished product definitely more structured like jacket not like cardigan which is exactly what I wanted. I joined the Master class group to have access to pattern support - excellent written directions and support videos
