Cande is the sister pullover to the Candelaria Cardigan. They were both inspired by my Abuelita Cande, whose favorite thing is to sit in a comfy corner of the house with a good book and a warm cup of tea. It is a seamless top-down round-yoke pullover, which allows for customization and comfort. Its lightweight fabric is perfect for keeping warm and layering up during colder months.

Beige Long Sleeve Sample is Size 5 and used Knit Picks Twill Fingering (100% Superwash Merino Wool) in Horchata Heather.

Alternative Yarns

Any fingering weight yarn will work. Here are some I recommend based on their weight and fiber content:

Main gauge

22 sts x 12 rows = 10 cm / 4in
In dc rows worked flat with a 3 mm hook after blocking

Swatch Instructions

Be sure to block and check gauge before starting by making a big enough gauge swatch (at least 15 x 15 cm / 6 x 6 in).

Certain materials might sag, and fabric may extend too much with drape, so adjust hook size appropriately.

I actually made this for the East Anglia Yarn Festival 2024 make-along, and it has been one of my favourite finishes! I bought the yarn at the October 2023 Knitting & Stitching Show at Ally Pally.
